'I took a good part of my Pass Plus training in the pouring rain, at night, on the motorway (M3/M4/M25/M40). Rob gave me some invaluable tips which will significantly improve both my confidence and my safety when driving in daylight in dry motorway conditions. Moreover I will be able to drive in the foulest of conditions with the comfort that I will be able to cope with almost anything which is thrown at me. I cannot recommend the Pass Pluss course strongly enough....and I have been driving for more than a year!!'

Statistics prove that the risk of having an accident is highest during the first years of driving after passing the driving test. This is why the Government launched the Pass Plus programme. Backed by the Driving Standards Agency (DSA) and major motor insurance companies, it is designed to help new drivers become more skilled and experienced in dealing with the demands of modern driving. Pass Plus is also backed by the Hampshire County Council Road Safety team who offer £75 towards the cost of Pass Plus to Hampshire residents (subject to conditions).
The course needs to be taken within twelve months of passing your driving test to qualify for the insurance benefits but accelerate strongly recommends that Pass Plus training is taken immediately after passing the practical test.
The PASS PLUS course is taken over a minimum six-hours and includes motorway, bad weather, city and rural driving and will better ensure safe driving in challenging conditions. After completion you will be able to obtain a discount from many insurance companies, subject to your personal circumstances.
